Beyond the Mark

Beyond the Mark is an internal organization with a goal of reaching outside our clinic walls in the areas of health, hunger and homelessness. It is an opportunity to serve others who are less fortunate or who have come into hard times.

Our Timeline

With a mission to inspire and empower others to reach their full potential, we began an initiative of uniting associates in the company with a heart to serve with community service. The Beyond the Mark initiative was born with the goal to reach outside our clinic walls in the areas of health, hunger and homelessness to give back to others and our communities.
BenchMark Physical Therapy partnered with a 10-year-old patient to host a kids’ toy fundraising drive for the patients at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
As the parent of a cancer survivor and a cancer survivor himself, Robert Cornett participated in the IRONMAN® World Championship in Kona, Hawaii on Oct. 8 through The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training program. TNT is the flagship fundraising program for LLS and the only endurance sports training program for charity that raises money for blood cancer research.
BenchMark Rehab Partners is proud to announce their partnership with the American Heart Association for their 2017 Beyond the Mark initiative. Heart disease is the nation’s number one risk of mortality. We plan on attacking this two main ways. The first approach is to collectively raise funds that will go to research and awareness. Our goal this year is $300,000! The campaign was begun by our leadership team writing personal checks that exceeded $24,000. Additionally, each clinic will participate by hosting fundraisers within their community. Furthermore, the second part of the initiative is to improve the company’s health as well as spread awareness to our communities. “Healthy for Good” is AHA’s movement that focuses on eating smart, adding color, moving more, and living well. We will utilize our clinics and communities to create challenges and motivation for all to become healthier.
